The Trumpeter Inn has designed a massage studio within the Inn, located only steps from our guest bedrooms, to enable you to experience the soothing, relaxing, rejuvenating sensations of a private massage. Slip into the luxurious robes and slippers you’ll find in each of your rooms, enter the softly lit massage studio where you’ll be greeted by the sounds of soothing music and dancing candlelight and be prepared to begin your journey towards total wellness of your body and spirit. Following your massage, consider taking a long, restful nap or soaking in the warmth of our garden hot tub and you will truly believe you have reached the ultimate state of nirvana!

Therapeutic massage fosters peace of mind and a sense of well-being. It has been found to help relieve stress and aid in relaxation, relieve muscle tension and stiffness and promote more restful sleep. Different types of massage are offered at the Inn, by the islands’ most experienced licensed massage therapists, including:

	Swedish Massage – focuses on improving blood flow to the skin and muscle and removing muscle aches providing generalized relaxation through long strokes, kneading and finger pressure.
Hot Stone Massage – hot stones are used to warm muscles and to apply aromatherapy oils. Warmed stones are placed on the body to release tension and to increase relaxation (this 90 minute therapy is only available off-site).
	Reflexology – Reflexology is based on the concept that all the organs of our body are mapped to our feet and hands. Reflexology applies finger pressure, some stretching and movement to pressure points on the feet with the goal of promoting healthy functioning of the body’s various organs. (Only the legs and arms need be exposed for this massage)
